Founder and Managing Principal
Howard Wedren has been working in the Chicagoland real estate community for the last 21 years. He has been involved with the development and leasing of a variety of real estate including office, industrial, parking and retail properties.
Howard began his commercial real estate career in 1994 after joining
Prior to founding Dayton Street Partners, Howard was principal with Chicago based Montero Partners, Ltd., a commercial real estate investment firm. Howard’s primary focus at Montero included identifying and underwriting value-add acquisitions as well as fostering broker relationships.
In November of 2006 Howard founded Dayton Street
Since its inception, Dayton Street has developed projects such as Chicago’s first speculative 100,000 square foot industrial building at 815 West Pershing Road and the redevelopment of the 50,000 square
Howard is also an active board member of the Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, Commissioner of the City of Chicago Special Service Area (Stockyards Industrial Park). He lives in the City of Chicago with his wife and two children.
Howard holds a bachelor degree in Regional Development from the University of Arizona.
